Angelis & Partner is a long-established German architecture practice working across housing, offices, museums, churches and hospitality, with a particular strength in heritage restoration. Their work includes the Deutsche Bundesbank extension, Rostock town hall, the Stralsund Museum and the restoration of several monasteries and medieval churches. Kallithea Villas, on the Greek peninsula of Pelion, is their holiday-house project: seven two-storey houses built into a hillside above a small fishing village, in the traditional Pelion style, with regional natural-stone facades and roofs, white rendered walls and grey-green wooden shutters.
