atelier RUA is a Lisbon-based architecture studio. For Casa Um, in the hills above Tavira, they reworked a nineteenth-century shepherds' farmhouse into a modern home that reinterprets the traditional architecture of the Algarve, its white volumes, chimneys and flat açoteia roof terraces, in a clean contemporary language.
