Architect
Laura Alvarez is an architect who grew up in the north of Spain and runs Laura Alvarez Architecture, based in Amsterdam. She designed and built Villa Slow, a small mountain retreat in Cantabria, as her own home, a modern take on the traditional Pasiego stone cabin. She later moved from Amsterdam to live in the valley.
