Casa Santa Teresa

Architecture by Amelia Tavella · Sleeps 8

A handcrafted beach villa above a Corsican cove

Set on the Corsican coast near Ajaccio with direct access to a Mediterranean beach below, Casa Santa Teresa sits within a region of rocky coves, mountain interiors, and the slow Mediterranean rhythm that has long made the island a quiet alternative to its more developed neighbours, with the sea-facing swimming pool surrounded by stone walkways and a handcrafted wooden pergola sheltering the outdoor cooking and dining area, the sights and sounds of the water just steps away.

Designed with concrete floors, raw natural materials, and handcrafted features across spacious open living areas, Casa Santa Teresa accommodates up to ten adults across five bedrooms with queen-size beds, including two ground-floor rooms with whitewashed walls and walk-in rain showers reminiscent of a Greek island getaway, a master bedroom on the first floor with floor-to-ceiling glass doors framing the sea, and a seventy-square-metre attic forming an open and bright space at the top of the house.
