Architect
zege architects is an Athens-based architecture practice working across residential, commercial, and cultural projects in Greece and beyond. The studio is known for contemporary work that draws on Cycladic and Aegean vernacular traditions, including stone walls, whitewashed surfaces, and courtyards open to the elements, interpreted through a contemporary architectural language. Tinos Hearts, a 2018 residential project on the island of Tinos in the Cyclades, is one of the studio's well-known holiday-home projects. zege architects' portfolio includes residential commissions across the Greek islands, commercial and hospitality projects in Athens and beyond, and a consistent attention to traditional Greek architectural typologies reinterpreted for contemporary use.
