Campanet is a small village on the northern plain of Mallorca, where the flat farmland runs up against the Tramuntana. Most people who come here come for the caves just outside town, and the village itself stays quiet: a square, a church, a few bars, and almond and carob fields in every direction. Pollença and the north coast are about twenty minutes by car.
The house is an older Mallorcan country wing with a newer extension, renovated in 2018 by Friederike Tebbe and Dodo Breer from Berlin. It runs to 300 square metres over three levels, with two living rooms, a kitchen with one long shared table that opens straight onto the garden, and a panoramic window framing the mountains. The furnishing mixes Mediterranean pieces, design classics and contemporary art. Outside there is a 2 by 4 metre saltwater pool, a pergola, and a hectare and a half of garden that runs out into the fields.
