Sa Sinia is an old farmhouse in the Tramuntana mountains, a 15-minute walk from the centre of Valldemossa. It has been refurbished as three separate houses, Casa Amos, Casa Jardín and Casa Tia, around a shared pool, garden and orchard. It sleeps twelve, which suits a big family or a group of friends who want their own space and one table to share.
Overview
Living Spaces
Each house has its own living room with a fireplace or wood stove and a small kitchen. The heart of the place is the shared kitchen in the next building: big, fully equipped and with seating for 20, made for long group dinners. There is air conditioning and heating throughout, and wifi.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are six double bedrooms across the three houses. Casa Amos has three, with two bathrooms. Casa Jardín has two, with a bathroom that opens onto the garden. Casa Tia has one, with its own terrace and bathroom.
The Environment
The houses share a pool, terraces and gardens, with orchards and fields of cereal around the farm. There is a porch at Casa Amos, places to sit day and night, and a table tennis table.
The Location
Valldemossa is a stone village in the Tramuntana, best known for its old monastery, where Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838. The monastery and the Chopin museum are both about 15 minutes on foot from the house. The coast at Port de Valldemossa is about 5 km away, and Palma airport is around half an hour by car. You will want a car.
