Mykonos · Greece
Set on the southwestern coast of Mykonos in a quiet valley overlooking the Aegean, removed from the island's busier centres yet close enough to reach them within minutes, En Kyanó sits as a hillside sanctuary built across multiple levels with the sea visible from every terrace.
Designed by Studio MacBride for Thomas Heyne, the co-founder of Scorpios Mykonos and Noema, the villa divides at its summit into two volumes connected by a modernist pergola, one holding the living area and master bedroom, the other holding two further guest rooms, with natural plaster walls, local stone, smoked oak joinery by Xylo34, and a sculptural fire pit by José Bermúdez paying tribute to Carlo Scarpa.
