Alaior · Menorca
Set on 60 hectares of pastoral countryside in the heart of Menorca, ten kilometres from the nearest beach, Es Bec d'Aguila sits between the white inland towns of Alaior and Es Migjorn, surrounded by the slow rural rhythm of the Menorcan interior, twenty minutes from the historic town of Mahon and twenty-five from Ciudadela across the island, in a region of pine groves, olive trees, and the agricultural traditions that have long shaped the Balearic countryside.
Built in the 19th century by a family of Menorcan merchants as a country getaway and renovated by the current owners in a restoration that preserves classical Minorcan architectural elements (vaulted ceilings, whitewashed walls, Cuban handmade tiles) alongside contemporary refinements, the finca extends across approximately a thousand square metres with eleven bedrooms each opening onto views of the Menorcan countryside, a formal French garden with a fountain, a twenty-five-metre swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen for long lunches, and hammocks hanging between pine trees for afternoon siestas.
