Baix de S'Era

Set on the inland plains of Alaró in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana, half an hour from Palma and away from the coastal tourism crowds, Baix de S'Era is a 230 square metre finca named in Mallorquín for the traditional threshing floor it sits below.

Designed by Mallorcan architect Jaume Colom in 2015, the building takes the form of a three-part complex with a pitched roof in response to local building regulations, divided into living, bedroom, and utility wings, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening every room to the garden and the mountain foothills, and a 4 by 10 metre pool laid into the central terrace.
